Director Paulo Chavarria announces the premiere in March of a new documentary series in Norwegian television, with the title “The Bothersome father”. Three episodes take us inside the problems and challenges children and fathers face in Norway -the land of equality- to keep contact after a divorce. Paulo -an immigrant filmmaker, and father of four boys- plunges on an investigative journalistic and personal journey, as he follows the process as Norway is planning reforms and a new Children’s Act.

Will there be a new law, or will it be the same system once again? The series show alienated fathers, grandmothers, and unveils what it seems a deep-rooted resistance from established organizations to acknowledge the need for a change in policy, and awareness of human rights.
