Depending of the COVID-19 status. The operation 2021 planned for the International Day Against Parental Alienation in North of France (Lille) is called “The Tree of Testimonies”. It consists of bringing together elected officials from the North of France, victims of parental alienation, supporters of the association and all public in order to pay tribute to the victims of parental exclusion, to denounce such psychological abuses, situations that should no longer exist… Thus, during this first term of 2021, the association “J’aime mes 2 Parents” published 60 testimonies collected from members and supporters of the association, thus producing a kind of book of approximately 150 pages.
The results of this work were also addressed to the highest officials of the French State at the beginning of March : President of the French Republic, Prime Minister and Ministers concerned (Children protection and Family, Justice, Health) in order to make them react and make them aware (once again) of the urgency to act, to put an end to the existing dysfunctions, to provide the necessary assistance to the victims (children as well as adults), even to legislate on the issue in order to supplement the law of 4 March 2002 n ° 2002-305 – relating to parental authority because it is visibly missing a whole chapter to devote to so-called “highly conflictual” separations affecting the child’s life and its psycho-emotional balance.
This event of April 25, 2021 would raise awareness and / or re-awareness among elected officials in our region; because not only are the tragedies piling up, but they are amplifying today in our society struggling with the hardships linked to Covid-19. The health crisis has undoubtedly accentuated these dramatic situations and, alas, increases these already alarming figures, if this has not already been done … given the many calls for help received from the association. With the “tree of testimonies”, the association would like to pay tribute
